Painting styles

I have four main styles I paint, each progressively darker than the last; Brief, Neglected, Perished and Level D.  I charge the least for Brief and more for Level D, but once again, please remember that the eventual price is subjective-- remember to ask for a quote first.  For painting, I charge a percentage of the total assembly price, which I shall shorten to TAP.

Below are examples of the four styles with a bit of an explanation for each.

BRIEF:  For a mere 10% of the TAP, Brief is the simplest and quickest style, bold and bright colours with very few washes that look lovely from the tabletop.  I can complete whole squads fairly quickly like this, but surely you aren't here for quick and bright, are you?

NEGLECTED:  13% of the TAP gives you the next step down from Brief, weathering and darker washes come into play.  More time and shades spent on each colour, and the first traces of residual decay are applied.  Subtle and still bright enough for the tabletop.

PERISHING:  15% of the TAP grants a darker finish than Neglected and more advanced decay.  This style is a little too far gone for "tabletop standard" and better suited to display pieces.

LEVEL D:  20% of the TAP, and this is truly grimdark, most suitable for the finest display pieces resplendant with detail.  The washes are so many and so dark that the colour barely shows through.  The highest level of decay applied; rusts, grime, smoke and blood    More exotic mediums can be applied on request... hee hee hee...

So, here's to recap:

BRIEF:                Quick and bright          10% TAP
NEGLECTED:    Severely weathered     13% TAP
PERISHING:      Much darker                 15% TAP
LEVEL D:          Exspecially grim           20% TAP

On the rare occasion, if you pay 20% Tap you might receive a model painted "Level D+", a result of clinical depression on my part-- how fun!
